Right to a Healthy Life

In Social Studies we have been learning about the relationship between rights and responsibilities. We know that rights are things everyone should have. Responsibilities are things everyone should doWe also know that the United Nations created the “Convention on the Rights of the Child” to help protect the rights of children everywhere.

Last week we learned that everyone has the right to a healthy life. Here are some webs that we created to show what some of our responsibilities related to this are.

What things do you do to make sure that you are healthy? Why might it sometimes be harder for children in other countries to stay as healthy as you?

  1. For example to have a healthy life you do basic stuff like getting on bed on time brushing your teeth and washing your hands. It might be harder for other people in different countries because they might not have doctors or clean water and stuff like that.
