100th Day of School

Today we celebrated our 100th day of grade 3! We marked this special occasion in many ways.

In Math, we focused upon 100 seconds, and did a number of tasks to find out how long “one minute and 40 seconds” really is. We also examined probability with our “Flip a Coin” challenge.

In Gym, we played a game of “In/Out Tag” and managed to get over a hundred tags in less than 5 minutes!

In Language, we wrote about what life might be like 100 years from now. Please check out our student blogs to see some of our ideas!

We also stretched our imaginations with a number of “If I had 100…” sentence starters. I loved seeing the student pictures of what each student might look like when they are 100 years old!

Grade 3’s, I know I had a great time today. What was your favourite part of 100th day? Please comment and let me know!
