Playing With Perimeter

We have learned that perimeter is the distance around the outside of a 2-D shape.

Our challenge today was to use Math Playground Geoboard to create different rectangles with a perimeter of 16 units. This wasn’t as easy as it may sound!

Can you think of some “real world” examples of where people would need to be able to calculate perimeter? Please comment and let us know if you do!
