In Math, we are learning to represent, model, compare and order numbers to 1000.
This morning we played a great game called “Better Be Bigger!”
Here are the rules.
1. Roll one die at a time.
2. After each roll, record the number on one of your three digit spots.
3. Your partner rolls and records their number.
4. Continue until you have filled in all 3 digits, check to see who has the greatest number – you or your partner!
We discovered that when it comes to comparing numbers, our hundreds are much more important than our tens and ones.
Can you think of anywhere that you might see numbers in their hundreds outside of school? Please comment and let us know if you do!
